This intensive program is designed to equip developers with the skills necessary to integrate AI services into their development workflow. The program covers a wide range of topics, from basic Python programming for AI to advanced concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI Agents. Participants will gain hands-on experience with popular AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Azure AI Services.

Prerequisites

While the program is designed to accommodate developers with varying levels of experience, the following prerequisites are recommended:

⦁ Basic programming knowledge in any language
⦁ Familiarity with web development concepts and RESTful APIs
⦁ Understanding of basic AI and machine learning concepts (beneficial but not required)

Program Structure

This on-demand certificate program comprises a total of eight modules, broken down into four separate courses.

Python for AI

This course covers the fundamentals of Python programming with a focus on AI apps. Students will learn Python syntax, environment management, working with external libraries, handling data formats, and basic file operations. The course emphasizes hands-on practice using Jupyter notebooks.

Introduction to Cloud-based AI

This course will demonstrate a couple of different cloud-based AI services, looking at the low-level look basics such as text generation, and image and audio processing.

Building AI Integrated Services with LangChain & LangGraph

LangChain is an open-source tool that attempts to be service agnostic, allowing you to mix and match between different providers. It is designed to allow the creation of more complex systems such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI Agents.

High-Level AI with Azure AI Services

This course focuses on leveraging Azure’s high-level AI services to solve real-world business problems. Students will explore pre-built solutions for Retrieval-Augmented Generation, content moderation, and other Azure AI offerings, understanding their apps and trade-offs compared to custom-built solutions.

What do the homework assignments include?

In most modules, you’ll receive a homework assignment once you’ve studied the content. The assignments consist of quizzes and/or coding practice. After you submit a homework assignment, your mentor will grade and return your homework within three days of receiving it.

What happens is I have to withdraw from the on-demand program?
